Here’s the Whole Story
Jordana David is a Haitian American, born and raised in Rockland County, New York. She gravitated towards makeup while dealing with severe acne and hyperpigmentation as a teenager. Her passion for artistry expanded when she began performing in the school theater.
While studying media communications at CCNY, David decided to pursue a makeup certification program at Empire Beauty school, hoping she could make a living at a MAC counter while completing her bachelor's. After a couple of photoshoots and fashion shows, David realized her 4-year plan wouldn't end anytime soon.
Jordana David relocated to Los Angeles after five years of artistry in NYC. During her decade in Hollywood, David has worked on union and non-union productions, glammed celebrities like Keke Palmer, Nia Long, and Tyrese Gibson, and trained for L'Oreal Paris and other brands.
David is known for her emphasis on clean, beautiful skin, creating effortless-looking transformations, a calming and supportive attitude, and her passion for educating her clients and artists.
